Dear Rick, I would like to say thanks for a superb job on our Hall of Fame video.  You had a lot of challenges to overcome being brought in late in the game but you handled it beautifully.
We are very proud of our inductees to the Jump Canada Hall of Fame and you showcased our choice this year perfectly.  Once again thanks for your professionalism and expertise and we hope to have you on board next year.

Nancy Wetmore – Chair Media and Communications, Jump Canada

I have know Rick for many years and his company has assisted Origin with several assignments requiring professional corporate video production solutions.  Origin is a private company in the retirement housing and health care industry, and our corporate objectives for video materials are diverse and complex.  We need to appeal to seniors themselves and their adult children who make up our customer base.  Origin must also have resonance with private investors who may be considering an investment in our sector.  Rick and his team were consistently sensitive to our complex needs and have always been professional and creative in their work.
We will certainly continue to consider Video Advantage for future assignments and have no hesitation in recommending Rick and his team to other corporate entities.

Rick Davis has carried out the role of Director for World Curling Television for a number of years.  Over that time he has proved to be someone that understands the sport of curling and provides direction that enables the viewers to understand the unfolding story; building the tension and showcasing the high level of skill involved.
Rick worked closely with the team of freelancers employed by WCTV to ensure they understood what he was trying to achieve through his direction using specific camera angles and placements to capture the emotion of the athletes and to give the picture of the whole event not just the single game being covered in any given broadcast.
Rick has strong planning skills which is vital in enabling the smooth set up of events, reducing ‘dead air time’, maximising the action on screen and when working with Local Organising Committees, particularily when it comes to the televising of ceremonies, which need to work not only from a broadcast point of view but also for the athletes and spectators within the arena.

Colin Grahamslaw – Secretary General, World Curling Federation
